Ramon Knoester and his still young architecture firm, WHIM, has created this very nicely done and airy home. The villa was designed to be as accessible as possible for the client, an older couple. Excited to see what’s next from this architect. Read more about it on Me Design Mag.

I’m not exactly sure what to call this new architectural trend I’ve been seeing, so for now, we’ll call it house dropping. Essentially, those who like the character or style of old run down buildings are ‘dropping’ modern structures within the walls of these bare boned structures. I do hope this trend stays for a while; I do like it.

I’ve always been fascinated by building conversions and so I was excited to see a review of “Build On” by Gestalten on Kitsune Noir. The book definitely looks to be worth purchasing, or flipping through at the very least.
