Product designers seem to like coat hooks. That may not be a very astute observation, but I say this mainly because I often see very different takes on the look and function of coat hooks. I myself have fitted our office with “Here” hooks, and at the time I thought that was the most innovative hook I’ve seen in some time.
A mere two years have gone by and I have seen hooks and racks of all styles, but none like this. No sir, I have never seen a photo associated to a coat hook. I find these coat racks to be a very cool idea, though I will note that if I walk a corner and see one of these in the corner of my eye, I will send a karate chop to the head for the fear of my own life.
