On Monday, May 12th, Robert Rauschenberg died from heart failure at age 82. Rauschenberg was a wildly innovative artist showing his talent through various mediums. Rauschenberg was a sculpture, painter, photographer, print maker, stage performer, and more. He is most known and remembered for his combine art, which is a mix various art mediums, such as sculpture combined with paintings.
Though I never completely understood his art, he was a true inspiration to me throughout the years and his outlook on art taught me to open my eyes and create work that I believe in.
